We are being incrementally poisoned out of existence.  This time, it’s the EPA is raising the allowable limits for residual Monsanto Roundup poison in the food supply.

Exposure to glyphosate has been linked to a variety of serious health concerns including: respiratory distress, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, depression, autism, infertility, cancer, and more.

Through the EPA’s new standards, the amount of allowable glyphosate in oilseed crops such as flax, soybeans and canola will be increased from 20 parts per million (ppm) to 40 ppm, which GM Watch acknowledged is  over 100,000 times the amount needed to induce breast cancer cells. Additionally, the EPA is increasing limits on allowable glyphosate in food crops from 200 ppm to 6,000 ppm.

Roundup (whose chemical name is glyphosate) used to be marketed as ‘biodegradable’ the product did not actually qualify to be labeled as such.  The product label as a result, no longer claims to be biodegradable.  And now, so much of it is being used that it is turning up in groundwater and even rain samples.

And now, thanks to the EPA, even more of this disease causing poison will be allowed in your food.
