Today, Tiger Direct made the announcement that they are now accepting Bitcoin as payment.

Tiger Direct is the latest in a host of companies who have recently flocked to the burgeoning Bitcoin economy.

In recent weeks, Overstock.com, Fancy.com, and even the first casinos in Las Vegas have begun accepting the newest form of money that is sweeping the world by storm.

And, rumors are floating around that Facebook and Google are both testing their systems for Bitcoin.  We don’t know yet if these rumors are true.  If you have the time to investigate further, please share your findings with us.

2014 is already being heralded as the “Year of the Bitcoin.” and we’re not even through January yet.
