I think I would rather be ruled by termites than politicians. Both politicians and termites are inherently destructive, but at least the termite has no capacity for deception.
Because evolution has provided the politician with deception as their primary survival skill, they are able to plunder over and swindle you while retaining your unwitting trust and devotion.
At the end of the day, you are totally decimated. At least if we were ruled by termites, we might not be lulled into such false security that holds us back from breaking free from the paradigm of coercive power altogether.
At least if we were ruled by termites, it would be obvious that the ruling class was destroying everything in it’s path. We should consider looking at politicians as what they are. Termites that can lie.
