For personal reasons, I have had less time to give to The Local Voluntary than it deserves. Unfortunately, like many people, I am caught between being fortunately and full time employed but also having a lot of personal obligations.
From Edward Snowden blowing the whistle on government spying, to the very suspicious death of Michael Hastings, to the suicide of Daniel Somers it certainly has not been a quiet few weeks.
Even though I have not had the time to write much, you should notice the new Sites We Like page. I have been improving this section of the site. Right now, it’s just a set of useful links that are educational or inspirational. Eventually, this section will be a complete library of information with a recommended curriculum of study.
I am open to any feedback on the material presented there. Please comment on that page when you have thoughts or feedback.
