These sites are closet sarcasm sites at best (like The Onion,) and dangerous misinformation sites at the worst. Unless you carefully label your posts from these sites as sarcasm/fake news, you would do well to avoid these sites when sharing stories online because doing so will damage your credibility.
Occasionally these sites do contain real news events. However, they have demonstrated that they have in fact published fake or deceptive news stories, have demonstrated that they have operated with poor journalistic integrity, or are simply sarcasm-based parody news sites.
These sites are not to be trusted or shared on social media if you want to be considered credible by anyone serious about fixing this broken world now.
